S-5-R465 & Mini Brochure

Are You Looking for a Heavy-Duty Attachment Solution for Rib-Roof Profiles?

The S-5-R465 (“R” stands for Rib-Roof) is a non-penetrating, standing seam metal roof (SSMR) clamp.

The R465 is specially designed for the Zambelli RIB-ROOF 465, McElroy Metal’s Mirage II, Rib Roof Metal Systems’ Rib Roof, DimonDek® 400, Steel & Tube Paneldek 400 and similar roof profiles. This clamp utilizes two pairs of opposing setscrews to engage the seam material.

Minis Available

The R465 Mini clamp is a more economical solution for lighter duty attachments where Herculean holding strength is not required.

All standard and Mini clamps undergo rigorous load testing. Negative load normal-to-seam testing (pull-up) is performed on all Mini clamps, and parallel-to-seam testing (drag load) is performed on all standard clamps.

Be sure to check out the many other features on the clamp overview page.

Choose the R465 (or its Mini) to mount walkways, snow guards, solar panels and other mechanical equipment to Rib-Roof and similar metal roof profiles.

Does the S-5-R465 Fit Your Roof Profile?

How to Install the S-5-R465 Clamp on Your Roof Profile*

Place the clamp over the seam at the desired location. Tighten setscrews to the correct tension so the seam is centered within the clamp throat.

Then, affix ancillary items using the bolt (provided with standard R465 clamp; sold separately for the R465-Mini).

*See more detailed installation instructions in the PDF below.

*S-5! clamps may be moved in the event of initial misplacement. However, due to the ensuing oxidation process which acts as a natural thread lock, we can express no opinion to the performance of a clamp once it has been removed and reinstalled or the ability to remove the clamp after this process has occurred.
