Architects and roof designers choose copper roofing for its timeless elegance and durability. The S-5-B (or S-5-BSF) allows you to maintain that theme when mounting snow guards or utilities on the roof. The visual appeal of copper roofing also makes it a superior roofing type. The B (“B” is for Brass) is designed for double-folded, copper standing seam paneling.
The B Mini clamp is a more economical solution for lighter-duty attachments where Herculean holding strength is not required. The Mini clamp is a bit shorter than the standard B with one setscrew rather than two.
Rigorous load testing is performed on both standard and Mini clamps. Negative load normal-to-seam testing (pull-up) is performed on all Mini clamps, and parallel-to-seam testing (along the seam or drag load) is performed on all standard clamps.
Choose the B to mount a variety of utilities, such as rooftop lighting, solar arrays, lightning protection and other appurtenances to your copper roof. Be sure to check out the many other features on the clamp overview page.

Single-Folded Standing Seam (Brass) S-5-BSF Only
Installation is as simple as placing the clamp on the seam and tightening the round point Torx Drive (T30) setscrews to the specified tension. Then, affix ancillary items using the bolt (provided with standard B clamp; sold separately for the B Mini).
