RibBracket™ I-IV

RibBracket I-IV is the right way to attach almost anything to select exposed-fastened, trapezoidal roof profiles marketed in North America, including PV through DirectAttached™ or rail methods.


With RibBracket I-IV, there are no messy sealants to apply and no chance for leaks! RibBracket I-IV comes with a factory-applied EPDM rubber gasket seal already on the base, and the S-5!®-patented reservoir conceals the EPDM from UV exposure, preventing drying and cracks. RibBracket I-IV is the perfect match for our S-5-PV Kit, or any other ancillary application, without worrying about cold bridging! RibBracket I-IV is extremely economical and facilitates quick and easy installation. The slotted top hole, which accommodates standard M8 nuts and bolts, simplifies alignment and maximizes flexibility in attaching ancillaries.


Each RibBracket I-IV comes with a factory-applied EPDM rubber gasket on the base.


RibBracket™ I

Fits popular Hawaiian profiles such as HPM Custom 4-Rib, HPM Custom 6-Rib, and other similarly dimensioned profiles.

Fits popular African and Australasian profiles such as Lysaght Trimdek 1015, Safintra Trimflute 1015, and other similarly dimensioned profiles.

Fits popular North American and Indian profiles such as PBR-Panel, R-Panel, Kirby Roof (KR), and other similarly dimensioned profiles


RibBracket™ IV

Fits popular African and North American profiles such as Safintra IBR, KingSpan KS1000, and other similarly dimensioned profiles.


Why so many versions? Not all trapezoid roof profiles have the same dimensions, but all still require a perfect fit. With four different shapes, RibBracket can properly fit the vast majority of trapezoid profiles found globally giving the installer confidence of having the right bracket for their roof and project. RibBracket flex- to-fit legs can be flexed inward to ensure the proper attachment as needed. The slotted top hole accommodates standard M8 nuts and bolts, and the channel can be used for wire management.

Load Test Results

Load Testing Normal to Mounting Surface

This table represents ultimate and allowable tensile loads applied to the S-5!® Bracket in a negative load direction normal to the bracket mounting surface. Please note that this protocol isolates failure to the bracket and fastener connection. It is possible that in an actual construction assembly some other mode of failure may occur at lower loads than those produced with this protocol. Loads imposed on the S-5!® Brackets will be transferred to the panels and their attachment. Panel ribs must have sufficient flexural strength to carry these loads when bracket is used mid-span. Panel attachment and building structure must also be sufficient to carry these loads. The makers of S-5!® clamps make no representations with respect to these variables. It is the responsibility of the user to verify this information, or seek assistance from a qualified design professional if necessary.

Allowable loads are listed utilizing a default Factor of Safety (FS) = 3.0. Actual factor of safety is the responsibility of the designer and should be employed as appropriate. Enter desired Factor of Safety and reset/re-tabulate.

All tabled values are dependent upon fastener connection. Load testing of S-5!® Brackets is conducted with screws deemed appropriate for the product and the material to which it is attached. The fasteners tested in conjunction with brackets are commercially available, the specific type of fasteners are footnoted at the bottom of the load test data table.

Load Testing Parallel to Mounting Surface
