The S-5-R Clamp is only used on the lapped rib (not the intermediate rib). For installations involving the optional sheet metal screw, the flanged half of the clamp MUST be placed opposite to the open edge of the seam. When using the clamp for snow retention, the S-5-R Clamp assembly should be specifically engineered to each individual project.
